Nestled within Toronto’s vibrant Distillery District, this project provided us with the opportunity to seamlessly blend diverse design influences while tackling remote and complex challenges with finesse. From the outset, our clients were excited to push the boundaries of interior design. Drawing on their affinity for lush greenery and minimalist elegance, we embarked on a transformative journey to curate a space that resonates with their dynamic lifestyle. With attention to detail, we curated a symphony of design elements that evoke a sense of tranquility and sophistication. The dark walnut slats, extending from the kitchen to the living area, serve not only as a visual anchor but also as a testament to our commitment to spatial continuity and flow. Innovative solutions abound in this project. The introduction of floor-to-ceiling mirrors in the foyer, coupled with discreet LED strip lighting along the stair treads, adds depth and luminosity, creating an immersive experience that transcends physical boundaries. Storage constraints posed no obstacle to our design vision. We seamlessly integrated functional storage solutions, extending the kitchen island to accommodate ample cabinet space and concealing additional storage behind the walnut slats and within a stone column – marrying form with functionality seamlessly.
