Newport Living Room

In impressionism like in interior design, light is your core material. Working with a formerly dark living room, we selected white floors and walls to allow natural light to infiltrate and move throughout the space, only keeping black trim to create dramatic tension between the walls and floors. Saturated jewel-tones and playful pastels were selected as accent colours for accessories to highlight the neutral furnishings. The result: a space that proudly showcases the client’s art collection while remaining inviting; like a gallery you’d want to live in.
